simple pleasures of walking, reading a book by a meandering stream, building sandcastles or eating locally produced food can all be

either for a well-earned break or for touring and exploring the surrounding countryside. we also offer short breaks during the winter,
spring and autumn. The cottages can also be rented together to sleep 8 & cots if you are planning a family gathering.
the world heritage jurassic coastline ... is only 3 miles away with its beautiful beaches, breathtaking views and great opportunities
to swim, surf, sail and water-ski. Dramatic golf courses which welcome visitors, cycle trails that take you through the most
beautiful countryside and walking up to Eggerdon hill fort, just across the valley from the cottages, will give you a view to treasure.
National Trust houses and the Sub-tropical gardens at Abbotsbury are close by. Shops in Dorchester, Sherborne and Beaminster
are all within easy reach and Bridport, with its twice weekly markets made famous by
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall in his 'River Cottage'
series, is our local town.
